Cardinal numbers are regular numbers like 1, 2, 3,... but ordinal numbers and numbers that refer to a place in a specific order like 1st, 2nd, 3rd,...

In the last exercise, you must turn the roman, numerals into English ordinal numbers. Unit 4: Dates and events

How to write dates: 

  1. When talking about dates we always use ordinal numbers. We say "I was born on the 2nd of May.". We do not say "I was on 2 May." 
  2. Always use a capital letter for the days of the week and the months of the year.

In this exercise, you must complete the crossword puzzle with the correct months. Once you have filled it in, you can press the yellow button and it will tell you what letters are incorrect by highlighting them in red and then you can make changes

In this exercise, you must listen to the audio fragments and select the correct date to match it. You can replay the audio fragments as many times as you would like and once you are done you can press 'check'.

This exercise focuses specifically on the 'events' vocabulary from Unit 4. You must complete the sentences with the correct word from the vocabulary list. You are given 3 options to choose from and have unlimited time to complete the exercise.
