LEAD THE WAY (in pairs)

Find a partner and open google maps. Go to your school. Describe the road to your house to your partner. How do you go home? Tell your partner about your means of transport, what the road looks like, where to go left or right...

E.G.: I ride my bike to school every day. When I leave school I instantly turn left. Then I turn left again, because of a sign that says I have to. Here I can ride on a bike lane that makes it safer. Go straight on...

Is your partner able to travel to your house using google maps? Good job! You have both succesfully mastered the vocabulary of this unit and know how to talk about transportation!

Watch the video below. What did you see in the video? Write 3-5 sentences about it using the linking words. Questions that can help are: What happens after the mother comes home? Why does the boy not like the dog? In what order do the events play out?

Try to use some of the different linking words in the expanded vocabulary list.
